To be grateful for what we have and opportunities that we have been given is an important tool to be able to keep an eye single to the glory of God. It keeps us humble, reminds us of who we are and where everything comes from and why we are here on this earth. It keeps us from greed and pride.
Another point this week that I thought was important was that when we go out to get that first job we need to pick something that looks like fun. It is not the end of all jobs but our starting point. Jump into something that looks like you'd enjoy it. Somewhere that will be enough of a challenge that you get to use what you've learned and stretch yourself without turning you inside out and become something you hate.
Learn something new when you work for any company. Gain experience. Go work for a company in an industry that you want to work in or to start a business in. After you get a lot of experience or when you feel comfortable then go out on your own. Good advice. Learn the trade and tricks therein before you jump in blind.
